Media Fireplace

Interested in a media fireplace?  The media fireplace is one of the coolest inventions to come around as of late, it’s a great way to incorporate the atmosphere and warmth provided by a fireplace with the comfort and enjoyment you get out of sitting back and watching some TV or listening to some music.

A media fireplace will not only have the means to store your DVD’s, CD’s and other media in side cabinetry, but it will also be able to support a wide screen TV directly above it.  This is a great way to save space and have 2 important family room components rolled into one.

This one can be picked up from Amazon for $649.99, although at the time of writing this it is out of stock due to it being such a popular choice.

This is an electric fireplace with 2 side cabinets on either side and a large open shelf all along the top of it.  This is 48”W x 16.25”D x 32.5”H, the cabinets are 9”W x 14”D x 21”H and the open shelf is 46”W x 15”D x 7”H.  This will easily accommodate a 50” flat screen TV on top.

This media fireplace has a beautiful espresso finish, an adjustable shelf in each cabinet and a mantel that will support up to 85 pounds of weight.

As far as the electric fireplace, it creates 1500W of power to heat your room and can heat up a 1,500 cubic foot room in only 24 minutes (that’s 14’x14’x8’).

The great thing about it being an electric fireplace is that it needs no venting, plugs into a wall outlet and creates no emissions either.

This really is a beautiful choice and it’s easy to see why it’s sold out if you have a look at it.

Here’s another equally impressive find at Amazon for $899.  This one is more of a casual looking fireplace while the above is more elegant.  This one is made out of burnished walnut and is comprised of 2 square storage units on either side of the fireplace as well as 3 narrow storage spaces on the top of the fireplace.

The firebox is 23” and has 3D flame technology as well as a remote control.  This plugs into any wall outlet to heat up to 400 square feet.

The TVs on this one though can only be up to 42” and there is some assembly required when putting this together.  It measures 20x61.8x35” and weighs 240.2 pounds.

So if you need a media fireplace, those are just 2 of your options.  In searching for a media fireplace though you may want to look around a bit more to gain more perspective on what your options are.
